Englisches Frühstück - 5A

On Friday, 15 September 2017, 5A went to a café called “Little Britain” with Prof. Schörkhuber and Prof. Florian. The café is located in the second district near the Danube. Inside, the café is very nicely decorated with small, traditional British furniture, little fancy plates and cups. Even the floor is made out of red bricks, which really makes you feel as if you are in the UK.

We had an entire room with six tables to ourselves to enjoy breakfast. We could choose from a wide variety of typical English meals, teas, baked goods, and drinks. Everybody on my table went for the “Full English breakfast” with baked beans, two sausages, two fried eggs, tomatoes, toast, and a glass of orange juice. The food was simply delicious!

During our visit we were asked to speak English only. ;-) We got a list of about 30 questions to discuss with our classmates in order to find out more about them, e.g. “What’s your favourite childhood memory?”, “My biggest fear”, “The person that had the most influence eon my life and why”, … All those that managed to ask everyone (!) at least 4 questions got a “homework voucher” as a reward.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at “Little Britain”, and I can definitely recommend checking it out.
