Dia duit, everyone! Classes 8b and 8c have the privilege to greet you from Dublin, Ireland, where we’re currently spending a great language week.
In the morning, we’re busy studying English at our language school International House Dublin, while in the afternoons we’re delving into Irish culture. On Monday, we familiarised ourselves with the essentials of the city by way of a walking tour. Yesterday took us straight into the 19th century and the story of Irish emigration on the Jeanie Johnston – did you know that a whopping 70 million people worldwide are of Irish descent? After that, however, we had the opportunity to learn how to dance the Irish way – with live music! If that didn’t take us to the heart of the place, what would?
