English in Action-Projektwoche 3A/E+

Before the Easter holidays, from April 14-18, my class and I had a project week to improve our English. Two teachers from England named Michael and Rory came to our school. We were split up in two groups as usual.  Just to give you a short overview, we practised English four hours a day a whole week long, and in the fifth lesson each day we worked on our own very own projects. In the sixth period every group made up a little sketch for the "Presentation Party" on Friday.  I think all of us had a lot of fun and that is what really matters!

I really loved the week - we often played fun games, but we also did exercises in our "British Language and Culture"-book. In the last two lessons each day we prepared our presentations (for example, about ice hockey, YouTube, computers, ...) and a play. My friends Julian and Clemens talked about Queen Elizabeth II, and Alex played James Bond in a play. Friday was the best day! There was our great presentation in "Festsaal" with lots of visitors. I think they really enjoyed it. All in all the project week was a lot of fun because we all got even better at English.

We learned a lot about British traditions and the London Underground, for example. We also learned about spoken English and had time to prepare presentations and sketches. They were really good.

It was a lot of fun because we spoke English all week. Our teacher, Michael, helped us with our sketches and in the end it turned out great. During the week we learned a lot of new vocabulary. I would definitely recommend this week to everyone.

We wrotre our own script to perform a play and prepared a presentation for Friday, when our parents and teachers could come to watch. Our English group really bonded, I think. Overall all of us enjoyed "English in Action" and we really recommend it to anyone who likes English or just wants to have fun!
